Hariksha People's Welfare Trust

At the time of initial stages the trustees are served as an individual to the needy necessary children / people. Having been worked as an orthopedic technician & Designing Engineer in a NGO, Welfare Programs for children since 1997 to 2008 in a moment we all are felt that the grouping of the trustees and the formation of an organization will support too many beneficiaries; help most needy and necessary children and people.

While serving as an orthopedic technician & Designing Engineer in a NGO, the urge to establish Organisation “Hariksha People’s Welfare Trust“ with the motto of “Is created for the millions of people & children, who suffer or die in silence, As long as long as one child remains hungry sick or in pain, Who ever and where ever they may be” The frequency of distressed children inspired the founder and the trustees to focus on dedicating themselves for the miserable plight, disgraceful status, Death defying disease of the Children and to be the Creators of Hariksha people’s Welfare Trust in Tiruvannamalai, by flying and spreading its wings of mission since 07th September 2006.

Our First Step towards the organization vision

The Plight of the poorest slum-dwell children at Tiruvannamalai urged to dedicate for the cause of Education. “KNOWLEDGE IS POWER” The value and role of “knowledge” is different in every culture but good basic education is essential in every culture and at all levels. Our primary program is the support to the needy children for their educational needs;

Working women’s children are experiencing the difficulties in Care, safety, Security and Comfort. The children are loosing their childhood days with out enjoying their childhood and they are suffering a lot. To provide the children a suitable environment as a family and offers total love, attention, protection, security, cheer, patience in grooming, guiding and feeding with life perspective stories we initiated the Play School for working women in April 2006. To create awareness among the community people to approach the physically challenged children we are conducting training programs in schools and in the community. We participated in the Pulse Polio campaign, at the time of Pulse Polio Immunisation camp conducted by the Government and also awareness campaigns, awareness street plays / stage plays and Vaccination / immunization camps.
